Shaker Heights Residents Living in Transit Village/Sutton Place Receive up to $2,500 Grant for Energy Efficiency Upgrades

Empower G&E appreciates the support and involvement of the City of Shaker Heights as we put on a great ice cream social for the residents of the Transit Village/Sutton Place area of the city. The City of Shaker Heights is offering up to a $2,500 grant to any residents living in the Transit Village area that wants to upgrade their homes to be more energy efficient. The City of Shaker Heights and Empower G&E hosted an ice cream social on August 25, 2016 to help inform residents, and to simply have a good time on a hot, humid late-August day!
Our ice cream social was joined by the children from the Voice in the Valley drum group. East Coast Custard provided the ice cream which was free for residents and their families. After Voices in the Valley completed their short concert, they grabbed members from the community, including a Shaker Heights police officer, to learn a bit about drumming.
